Better maritime regulation is essential for the shipping industry to continue to serve international maritime transportation and world trade.
The International Maritime Organization has therefore started a process that aims for the identification and possible elimination of unnecessary, disproportionate or obsolete requirements in mandatory IMO instruments. To assist in the identification of such requirements the IMO has launched a public consultation. The IMO encourages everyone with interest in and experience with maritime regulations to take part in the consultation. So have your say!
